Ten Fashion Tips

Choose white taken from the whites of your eyes as your white shade.
Shoe color should match your hair color where possible. This does not apply if you are wearing dark slacks; in which case the shoe should match the slacks.
Pushing up sleeves will make the legs appear longer.
Violet eye shadow intensifies the color for green eyes. Orange- brown liner intensifies blue eye color.
Accent lips or eyes, not both. As we mature and lines begin to form at the jaw, you will want to draw attention up on the face toward your eyes.
When facial features are asymmetric, choose an asymmetric hairstyle and clothing features that are asymmetric. Greta Van Susteren has a noticeably asymmetric mouth. Her choice of an off-center part, each side perfectly mirroring the other appears symmetrical. Her choice of classic, symmetric business suits further accentuates the asymmetry.
If you are under heavy stress, choose blacks or other neutrals. These take less energy to wear than colors.
Wear your eye color to appear trustworthy unless your eyes are a yellow-green. Some people are not drawn to that color so choose your warm skin tone.
To appear approachable, choose jewelry with curves. Sharp points on jewelry gives a subtle "don't mess with me".
Pastels become dramatic on dark skin.
